IT34 Aalborg
It all began in Biersted, to the north-west of Aalborg, in 1817, when we became one of the country’s very first surveying consultancies. Today, our name is LE34, and we moved into the centre of Aalborg many years ago now. Aalborg is an ideal base for our work on land for private customers, commercial clients and municipalities as well as for our offshore activities for energy companies.

‘We add to our history and hone our trade every day. We make use of our expertise as a provider of surveying and land management services to shape and gear Aalborg, as well as North Jutland as a whole, for the future: from our involvement in new residential areas to erection of wind turbines on- and offshore; from local development planning to technical inspections of oil rigs.’
There, wherever you are
LE34 Aalborg is like a condensed version of the entire LE34 organisation: a powerhouse of talented employees, covering all of LE34’s specialist fields – traditional land surveying activities, expropriation, legal advice, GIS, wind turbines, offshore activities, utilities, planning and highly specialised technical projects, including UAV mapping, 3D laser scanning and BIM.
From development plan to reality
Aalborg is one of the many seaports in Denmark that are bringing more and more urban life to their waterfronts. LE34 is contractor, urban developer and property investor A. Enggaard’s regular surveying consultant. In this role, we help transform their development plans into reality.
Urban development, housing and drilling rigs
The remains of the original port environment in Aalborg provide a raw backdrop for the new architectural pearls emerging on the waterfront. LE34 helps ensure materialisation of the building plans. We draw up local development plans, subdivide building sites and conduct surveys and setting out for the new buildings. Some of our colleagues also spend their working days offshore – with their feet solidly planted on the deck of LE34’s survey vessel, on drilling rigs, on large ships or on offshore wind farms.
The Aalborg office is LE34’s offshore hub, and we have extensive experience in supplying accurate data, which we collect in challenging conditions on oil rigs, ships and onshore installations. We have the resources to match any project, whether in the North Sea or in some other corner of the world, involving routine control surveys or applying innovative engineering surveying methods.
